Originally from Thailand, and with over 25 years experience in both Eastern and Western healing knowledge, Jinny is a licensed massage therapist with a background in Ayurvedic and Thai Herbal massage therapies. She graduated from a four-year Bachelor’s degree program in Applied Thai Traditional Medicine. Jinny worked as a Holistic Health Care Provider of Integrated Western and Eastern medicine in Navy hospitals and communities with teaching and training expertise of over ten years.
In her spare time, Jinny enjoys outings with her daughter and often volunteers at her local temple. She sees her work as a massage therapist as a cultural necessity. In Thailand, it’s very common for the entire family unit to get regular massage treatments, and she hopes that eventually the majority of Americans can see its value too. Jinny loves to see her patients happy and leaving with a smile on their face after each massage.
As her specialty, Jinny brings her experience of Thai massage to Beyond Acupuncture. Her goal is to combine these healing practices together. Acupuncture methods can occasionally use trigger points, and Jinny can also tap into those points with her fingers as well as with an herbal ball, which has herbs enclosed inside to allow for therapeutic relief of muscular tension. Thai massage is often popular among athletes who are looking for a deep stretch of tense muscles, and hot stones are applied to the body following this treatment in order to further promote blood circulation.
In the past, Jinny has worked as a massage therapist at a chiropractor’s office in VA. She also had her own medical spa in Thailand before moving to the U.S. As a Virginia Certified Massage Therapist (CMT).

Federica Mingotti, L.Ac. - Beyond Acupuncture Clinic
Federica is a nationally board-certified and Virginia state-licensed acupuncturist. She holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Lotus Professional College in Richmond and a certificate in Cosmetic Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego.
After 10 years in the corporate world, Federica knows firsthand how chronic stress and constant demands can quietly disconnect us from our own bodies. That live experience now shapes every part of her practice at Beyond Acupuncture Clinic. She brings calm attention and genuine clinical skill to every person she works with, listening closely to your concerns and partnering with you to address what matters most—whether that’s finding lasting relief from pain, restoring pelvic floor comfort and function. In her care, you’ll experience thoughtful, effective support designed around your individual needs. She is specialized in a few areas including;
Pain Management Federica provides effective, integrative clinical approaches to musculoskeletal pain and chronic conditions, carefully helping release what holds you back so you can safely return to the activities you love most.
Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Federica offers specialized, restorative care for pelvic floor dysfunction, using gentle acupuncture, targeted techniques, and individualized protocols to restore comfort, function, strength, and confidence in these often sensitive areas. Pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) occurs when muscles in the pelvis are weak, tight or uncoordinated leading to symptoms like incontinence, incomplete bladder emptying, chronic pelvic pain, constipation, pain during intercourse and lower back or pelvic pain and pressure. Common causes and key factors include traumatic injury, pregnancy and childbirth, aging, high- impact activity or heavy lifting.
Chinese Herbs Rooted in the traditions of Oriental Medicine, Federica draws upon her training in the Jing Fang classical tradition under Prof. Huang Huang lineage. She integrates traditional and modified, pattern-based Chinese herbal formulas when appropriate to provide deep internal nourishment and support the body’s natural dynamic balance alongside her acupuncture treatments.
Outside the clinic, Federica continues her dedicated studies in acupuncture, always deepening her knowledge. She finds true restoration and quiet joy in the outdoors, where her love for all things in nature nourishes her spirit and gently reminds her of the body’s innate dynamic and rhythms.
